Along with other significant open source projects, Tungsten Fabric participated in the 2019 NCDC to rally community developers in the Greater China.

TF booth has a wall-size poster showing TF architecture as well the key "RULE THEM ALL WITH ONE" message. Next to it is the standup poster brought by Sukhdev Kapur from 6,000 miles away. Developers flocked to the booth right after the morning workshop session. The majority asked what "multicloud multistack SDN" means. Given a brief explanation, we invited them to join the TF workshop after lunch. And they showed up and filled the room starting 1:30pm.

Sukhdev Kapur started the workshop with "Tungsten Fabric & Akraino SDN and NVF for Edge". Sukhdev Kapurspoke at a slower pace to make sure the audiences can understand the materials in English. He gave the audiences cues to ask questions. Some did ask questions in English during the session, which made the presentation interactive. Raymond later presented TF 5.1 features with his impressive animations on use cases showing live traffics and flows, which further demonstrated how TF can be "RULE THEM ALL WITH ONE". Edward Tingthen walked through TF 5.1 community release building process from source code to deployment following the steps documented "https://wiki.tungsten.io/display/TUN/Building+a+Release". The whole 2-hour build-time were condensed to 30 minutes in PPT.

The closing panel session, Edward Tingwas the moderator asking Sukhdev Kapurand Raymond. The questions ranged from ML2 plugin, VXLAN/MPLS tunnels, to VMware & Ubuntu use cases. It ended 3 minutes after the planned time.

scalability and even stability. After this workshop, they plan to try TF 5.1 and hopefully join the community soon.

This is successful TF event. The host has also professionally done the conference. Kudos to the staffs!
