The Tungsten Fabric community is actively discussing generic offload APIs.

The community is targeting support for offloading vRouter for the kernel and DPDK based data path and for both SR-IOV & VirtIO communication. This section provides documentation on the different proposals for SR-IOV DPDK/Kernel based offloads.
