Michael Henkel shared a draft proposal for TF Operator here.
- Discussions ensued around separating Cassandra
- Discussions around upgrades
- Implementation process is still not clear.
- How upgrades are handled by module/component are currently set to upgrade all. Possible to encode specific modules.
- Further documentation needed
- New "masters" are not currently handled because the operator may not want to scale out their deployment.
- There is no automated scaling at this time
- Will consider adding this in the future.
