Upstream DPDK

• Kiran: There is a need for business requirements to leverage upstream DPDK.
  • Not sure if we want to adopt the upstream or fork of 19.11
• Still can use forked branches
  • The requirement is that APIs should not change for later versions of DPDK.

Release Planning

• Need to capture some of the overlaps in the milestones
• Need more active participation of the community to develop the release plan
• Need a dedicated Release Manager.  Is there anyone from the community that can step forward?
• The community will reach out to their organizations to encourage their development teams to join the call on 05 May 2020 and work through the plan.
• Casey will reach out to Mirantis, CloudOps, and Yandex to request feedback on the release planning.
