- One of the goals if someone is working on config api changes, they should not affect all of the repos. They were having trouble separating the controller. Juniper had hired someone to do this, but he is no longer with the company.
- Alex also proposed the separation of parts a number of years ago.
Action items
- Prabhjot Singh Sethi / Sukhdev Kapur to continue to work on the upstreaming TF/DPDK proposal. Will provide an update
- Sukhdev Kapur and Prabhjot Singh Sethi to send the existing pieces of the Blueprint processes to Casey Cain and they will put it together for TSC vote.
- Casey Cain to follow up with Jim St. Leger about Intel Lab in China
- Prabhjot Singh Sethi will make a recommendation for a new branch to gain release independence at the TSC call.
