Documentation

  • Michael Henkel talked about the documentation for the project and where it should live.
    • Casey suggested that project documentation should live in the project repo and then be linked to the project documentation.
      • Coordination with Szymon Golebiewski the PTL of docs lead.
      • It's  the responsibility of the PTL and committers of the individual modules/projects to develop the documentation and ensure that it is updated for each release
      • Szymon will help ensure that it is available in the public documentation.
      • Documentation should live in the repos and not in Google documentation

Contrail references

  • Prabhjot Singh Sethi references to Contrail need to be removed from any documentation
    • Discussion ensued around the specifics of what needs to change.
    • In general, the is an agreement that references to Contrail need to be removed from the API code and documentation.

CoVA

  • Prabhjot Singh Sethi talked about CoVA and asked if it should be included in TF
    • Current documentation is in Gdoc which is not publicly accessible outside of Juniper
    • Casey Cain if the project needs to be a part of the community the documentation needs to be publicly available. 
    • Casey Cain suggests that the project is shelved for this release and then when and if documentation becomes available, they can submit as a new project proposal and follow the project/module project induction process. 
    • Sukhdev Kapur suggested that it should be shifted to commercial only and removed from the TF community.
