Release

  • Randy Bias analytics repo to be migrated to tungsten/tf-analytics on  
  • Sukhdev Kapur Big step and hopefully will be accelerating repo migration
  • Juniper may be moving away from a monthly release cadence. 
  • Alex / Prabhjot to work on test cases for DPDK

LF Analytics

  • Data is available but not everyone is associated correctly at this time
    • If your data is showing up as "Unknown" or with the wrong organization, please let Casey know.  For the moment, he will need to manually fix this.

Infra

  • Have a new CI, but not in production yet using Jenkins, not Zuul.  Logic built into the tools.
    • Can be used on most hardware
    • Can allow deployment with 5 different methods
    • The interface is MATE file.
  • Still minimal needs community support
  • SK mentions that it is still difficult to install TF.  Requires a meticulous config file.  Asks Alex if this streamlines the install

Sukhdev Kapur mentioned that he's going to the LFN Developer event in Prague.  Also noted that 


Blueprint Review step by step process

  • No current step-by-step guide for submitting Blueprints and how TF will review and approve them.
  • Sukhdev Kapur and Prabhjot Singh Sethi to send the existing pieces to Casey Cain and they will put it together for TSC vote.

Projects Definition and Mapping to the Repos

  • Casey Cain suggested that this is critical that TF solve early in 2020.
  • How do we define what makes a project and how do we assign PTLs
  • We need to discuss weekly until resolved.  SK agrees.
