Agenda

  • Start the Recording
  • We will start by mentioning the project's Antitrust Policy, which you can find linked from the LF and project websites. The policy is important where multiple companies, including potential industry competitors, are participating in meetings. Please review and if you have any questions, please contact your company legal counsel. Members of the LF may contact Andrew Updegrove at the firm Gesmer Updegrove LLP, which provides legal counsel to the LF.

Milestone Status

  • Marek Chwalreviewed the community milestone status.
  • Sukhdev Kapur suggests that we make an exception for the 20.11 release for milestones and instead focus on 21.04.
    • Alexandre Levine this affects and influences the results of the approved blueprints
    • Marek Chwal noted that we already have the process in place in Jira to start adding the next release blueprints for approval and milestone tracking.  Aligning with 20.11 will also help align with 21.02.
      • We have not met all of the milestones for 20.11 and have not received feedback or action items from feature leads.
      • A discussion was had about the transparency of the release, documentation and the need to be able to accurately identify key stakeholders to help confirm the release process and status for the Tungsten Fabric Community
    • Casey Cain noted that the community is also on a 6 month release cadence, not a 3 month.  This goal has shifted at least 3 times over the last year and cautions against trying to shift the goalpost again.
