Single vrouter-kernel-init container image
- Prabhjot Singh Sethi talked about the v-router strategy.
- Referenced Jira ticket:
- A discussion was had around the build process.
- Currently building with CentOS and Ubuntu with no issues.
- Concerns were raised about not using DKMS.
- The image is being built with kernel headers. Prabhjot Singh Sethisays that the full DKMS is not needed.
- Prabhjot Singh Sethi wants to simplify the build process as much as possible and expand the level of kernel version support.
- Prabhjot Singh Sethi will continue the conversation via the mailing list.
Documentation of ports used by TF
- Need to identify overlaps
- There is no documentation currently identifying the ports.
- Not all appear to be using common ports.
- Yuvaraja Mariappan and Prabhjot Singh Sethi will sync over email to identify the ports and develop documentation.
Kubernetes network and conformance test
- Prabhjot Singh Sethi wants to add conformance testing to the CI for Kubernetes.
- Linked to: https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes.git
- make WHAT=test/e2e/e2e.test
- Linked to: https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes.git
- There is a larger discussion about CI that may need to happen based on other ongoing conversations around community infrastructure.
Release Planning
- Marek Chwal we are working to define the milestones. Need community feedback on [Template] Release Scope Overview page.
- Do we have the list of blueprints proposals for the next release?
- Prabhjot Singh Sethi Looking to align some of the projects first
- Sukhdev Kapur stated that Daniel Pono Takamori and Jared Linley are currently working out the details for importing the Jira data.
- Need rapid spin up on the Jira tracking so we can help manage the release because the progress is not currently clear.
- Prabhjot Singh Sethi working as part of the initial process we can start moving tickets manually to the community jira.
- Marek Chwal what do we currently have in the TF Blueprints?
- Not much from Juniper yet. But those should be coming soon.
- Can we clean up the TF Blueprints in the community jira?
- Anything more than 6m old should be moved to the backlog. Anyone can move the bugs back to activity if they are still active.
- Any bugs that are less than 6m we should reach out to the assignee/reporter.
- Do we have the list of blueprints proposals for the next release?
