Agenda

  • Start the Recording
  • We will start by mentioning the project's Antitrust Policy, which you can find linked from the LF and project websites. The policy is important where multiple companies, including potential industry competitors, are participating in meetings. Please review and if you have any questions, please contact your company legal counsel. Members of the LF may contact Andrew Updegrove at the firm Gesmer Updegrove LLP, which provides legal counsel to the LF.

Infra Updates

  • Chandra Dasari and Vanessa Valderrama talked about how the LF is cleaning up the gerrit permissions, committer promotions process, and migration to the LF Single Sign-on.
  • Will be presenting more detail and how the permissions map to projects and repos on
  • A discussion ensued around project mapping to repositories so that permissions can be effectively managed.
    • Permissions for PTLs and Committers need to be mapped to a repository.
    • Logically right now it is difficult for the community to associate a Project to a Repo
    • To prevent blocking of active development, the community should associate a PTL and an initial set of committers to the existing repositories.
      • The community can then in the future properly associate a project to a specific repository as they decide the permissions should be logically separated.
