Action Item Followup

TF Release

  • Release timeline not defined.
    • We have never finalized the release process in the community.  This was due to several reasons, but the primary one being the repository migration
      • Casey/Ed suggested that we build the baseline in advance of the repository migration
    • A proposal is being drafted for Community Review.  Will be posted in the Proposal section of the wiki.

Election

  • Today is the last day to self-nominate.  Please do so before 5pm PT
  • Technical Representative Seats: 5
    • Current Election Mechanics limits the number of each Represented Group to 1 per Organization. 
    • Self-Nominated Eligible Candidates: 5
    • Eligible Winners from Candidate pool: 4
  • Community Representative Seats: 3
    • Maximum number of seats is 3
    • Self-Nominated Eligible Candidates: 4
    • Eligible Winners from Candidate Pool 3
  • If we do no get more technical representative self-nominations a resolution will be presented to the TSC to reduce the number of technical seats for the 2020 Election period to 4.
    • Once a new TSC is elected, Casey will work with them to develop a proposal to further refine the governance policies of the Project.
